Write down 10 things you're grateful for
It's been said that developing an "attitude of gratitude" is one of the simplest ways to improve your satisfaction with life. And research reveals that practicing gratitude can improve our physical and mental health, relationships, and more.
Today, write down 10 things for which you are grateful. If this is your first go at a gratitude list, you may find that it takes a bit of time to craft your list. That's okay. Remember the things that make their way on your list can be as small as "I"m grateful to have a roof over my head" or "I'm grateful for the beautiful flowers outside".
Writing a gratitude list is a great way to start or end your day, so try doing this either first thing in the morning as a way to prepare yourself for the day ahead, or just before bed as a way to settle your mind, emotions and spirit before you go to sleep. Consider making gratitude list writing a part of your daily self-care routine.
