Join us for the fall 2019 meeting of The SheFirst Project Articles Club held in conjunction with the SheFirst September self-care campaign.

Do you get the #SundayScaries the night before a new work week begins? You know, that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you realize that your precious weekend is coming to an end and the new work week is just hours ahead of you.

Is work consuming your life, with the scale of work-life balance more heavily tipped towards work than life? Would friends and family describe you as a workaholic? Has work encroached upon your value system and attempted to take the place (or has taken the place) of what you value most?

This quarter’s roundtable discussion will include a conversation on how work has morphed into a kind of religion for some Americans and its impact on the well-being of modern day career women. We’ll also discuss tips on how to practice self-care at work, blend work and life in a healthy way, and prioritize personal values while climbing the professional ladder.

We will discuss the following articles: The Atlantic’s The Religion of Workism is Making Americans Miserable and The Wall Street Journal’s Sunday Night is the New Monday Morning, and Workers are Miserable.

We are excited to have Alexandra Sampson, attorney, work-life well-being expert, and founder of The SheFirst Project facilitate this discussion.

RSVP for this FREE meet-up using the form, below. Sharing is caring, so invite a friend to join us for the fun! We hope to see you there!
