Take a yoga class

Yoga practice has a number of benefits for both physical and mental health. It focuses not only on flexibility and balance, but also incorporates breathing exercises and meditation which promote relaxation and reduced stress.

Add a little yoga to your life by taking a class today. If you’re not a member of a yoga studio, many yoga studios offer discounted or free first classes so research a few in your area. You can also find a number of free yoga classes online. YouTube is your friend in this regard, so do a search for “beginners yoga” and find a class that interests you. If you need a little assistance, check out this list of free yoga videos on YouTube from Greatist.

If you’re short on time, no worries. You can find online yoga sequences that are as short as 15 minutes in length.
